To welcome MQM if it decides to join govt: Memon

KARACHI: Sindh Information Minister and Pakistan Peoples’ Party (PPP) leader Thursday said that if the Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) wants to join government, his party would welcome them, Geo News reported.

Talking to a budget session in Sindh Assembly, Memon said that the MQM would decide to join provincial government through public referendum.

He further said that his sympathy was with families of MQM’s missing activists and his party would play the role to have them recovered.

The budget did not have anything to divide rural and urban Sindh, he added.
