Three killed in Punjab mishap

PHALIA: At least three people of a family were killed in a road accident in Punjab, Geo News reported Saturday.

Police said a speeding truck hit a motorcycle, injuring Inayat, his wife Rabia and his brother Hayat, residents of a nearby village in Phalia.

The injured were taken to a nearby hospital where they succumbed to their injuries. The police said that truck driver managed to escape following the incident. The bodies were handed over to families after medico-legal formalities.
