PML-N MPA Nighat Shaikh claims bus hostess misbehaved with her

LAHORE: Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) Punjab Assembly MPA Nighat Shaikh Saturday submitted her reply to the show cause notice served upon her by the party over her alleged brawl with a bus hostess, Geo News reported.

In her reply, Nighat Shaikh claimed that actually it was the bus hostess who had misbehaved with her during the travel, adding that as she lodged a complaint against her (bus hostess) in writing the latter resorted to getting physical with her.

According to PML-N Punjab spokesman Sarfaraz Shah, the MPA had been given a period of three days to submit her response. He said Nighat in her reply stated that the bus hostess misbehaved with her during the travel which led her to register a complaint against her at Rawalpindi bus terminal. Nighat added that this infuriated the bus hostess and she manhandled her during the journey, he added.

An inquiry committee constituted by Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif had already declared Nighat guilty.

According to sources, Nighat Shaikh was willing to come to terms with the bus hostess, Iqra Nawaz.
