Family holds meeting with Dr Shakil Afridi in jail

PESHAWAR: The wife and children of Dr Shakil Afridi met him in Central Jail Peshawar on Thursday, Geo News reported.

Dr Shakil Afridi is imprisoned in Peshawar Central Jail for 13 months on the charges for having links with banned outfits.

Dr Afridi’s family met him the first time during this time. The meeting was held under the supervision of intelligence agencies.

Special security measures were adopted in the jail for this meeting. The family was also brought under strict security.
