Armed robbers loot Geo News female staff members

KARACHI: Armed robbers on Saturday deprived female staff members of Geo News of their mobile phones, cash and other valuables in broad daylight.

Geo News staff van with eight female workers on board was intercepted by armed men riding two motorcycles near Model Town Graveyard, which is situated near the highly sensitive areas of Malir Cantt and the Karachi Airport.

The female employees were deprived of their gold chains as well as mobile phones and other valuables. One of the motorcycles used in the robbery was carrying registration number 2475.

The robbery which took place in the broad daylight in a sensitive area put a question mark on the performance of Police and other law enforcement agencies.
