SC hears Karachi law and order case

KARACHI: Deputy Director Board of Revenue Syed Zulfiqar Ali Shah on Wednesday told the Supreme Court that KPT, DHA, Port Qasim, Malir Development Authority and other departments were involved in land grabbing in Karachi.

A three judge-bench headed by Justice Anwar Zaheer Jamali was hearing Karachi suo motu implementation case at the Karachi registry of the apex court.

Shah told the bench that record of 695 dehs out of 870 dehs lost in arson attacks had been reconstructed.

Advocate General Sindh sought six-month time as the judge asked how much time would be required for recompiling the record.
