Hyderabad: A large number of activists of Jeay Sindh Quami Mahaz (JSQM) held protest, blocked road and burnt a truck-trailer here Wednesday against the arrest of their party activists.

The angry protestors blocked the National Highway near Hatri Bypass and burnt a truck-trailer. Police restored to aerial firing and teargas shelling to disperse them. The protestors also pelted traffic with stones and as a result some people including three cops sustained injuries.

People faced a lot of problems at Iftar time due to the closure of road.
