ISLAMABAD: Dr Waseem Khuwaja, a spokesman for the PIMS Hospital said that Sikandar’s wife was in stable condition.

He said that Sikandar was not in a condition to record his statement while any decision to remove ventilator would be taken keeping in view his health.

Speaking to Geo News on Friday, he said according to the woman her husband was a drug addict and often subjected her to torture. She also doubted that Sikandar was mentally ill.

She, however, said that Sikndar got rid of his drug addiction in March this year and they had come to Islamabad to get urgent passports so that they could travel to Dubai.

According to Khuwaja, Skindar’s wife, identified as Kanwal, further told that they were staying at a hotel in Islamabad and her husband had rented a car.
