Gunman Sikandar’s wife discharged from hospital, accused still in ICU

ISLAMABAD: Gunman Sikandar’s wife Kanwal has been discharged from the hospital, while the accused was still being given treatment in intensive care unit of the PIMS Hospital, Geo News reported on Saturday.

PIMS management has also confirmed that Kanwal after treatment in the hospital has by now been discharged. A heavy contingent of police has arrived at the PIMS Hospital for the arrest of accused Kanwal.

PIMS Hospital spokesperson Dr. Ayesha said that the accused Sikandar’s wife Kanwal has been discharged, but she would be staying in the hospital until evening to be handed over to the police.

The accused Sikandar has been removed from the ventilator, however his condition was not as good as to record any statement to the police, he was still in ICU, Dr. Ayesha said.
