Sindh Assembly approves Local Government Bill 2013 amid protest

KARACHI: The Sindh Assembly on Monday approved Local Government Bill 2013 in the Sindh Assembly amid protest by the Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM).

The MQM staged walk-out against the approval of the bill. Speaking to media after the session, Sindh Information Minister Sharjeel Memon said that the government talked to all the political parties with good intention and considered their proposals over the legislation.

He felicitated people of Sindh over the approval of the local government bill.
