ISLAMABAD: The National Assembly on Thursday unanimously adopted a resolution against Indian violation of ceasefire along the Line of Control.

The resolution was tabled by Minister for Defence Production Rana Tanveer, paying homage to captain Sarfaraz who embraced martyrdom in Indian shelling on Wednesday.

The house expressed concern over Indian aggression and urged the civil and military leadership of Pakistan to strengthen the country’s defence.

It said that Pakistan wanted peace and constructive talks with New Delhi.
