QUETTA: The Supreme Court of Pakistan has ordered the police, FC and agencies to submit their report in missing persons case tomorrow.
During a hearing of missing persons case in apex court’s Quetta registry, Chief Justice of Pakistan Iftikhar Muhammad Chaudhry said that the court is giving a deadline till tomorrow, Tuesday. He said that all the missing persons who are believed to be under the custody of FC must be released by tomorrow.
Former IG police submitted the report in the court in which he claimed that the missing persons were detained by the FC.
Meanwhile, IG FC Major General Ijaz Shahid in his statement to the court said that he has just assumed the charge and he would take up every single case. He further said that if the missing persons were under the custody of the FC then he would uncover them.
Justice Jawwad S Khwaja addressing the IG FC remarked that if some elements are uisng the uniform of IG then this matter is worth considering.
