LAHORE: Dengue continues to hold Punjab in its grip as two new cases were confirmed on Tuesday. The number of confirmed dengue cases has now risen to 47 across the province.

According to the provincial health department, two dengue cases were confirmed in Lahore and are being treated at the Mayo Hospital.

1,726 people are believed to the infected with the dengue virus in the province and during the last 24 hours 59 new cases were reported.
