Hashmi says people didn’t vote for Nawaz Sharif

LAHORE: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf President Javed Hashmi has said that forces that brought Nawaz Sharif into power should be afraid of God.

Speaking at an Eid Millan Party on Tuesday, he said that if the previous National Assembly was ill, the incumbent house was even dead.

He claimed that people didn’t vote Nawaz Sharif to power instead his party managed to arrange seats to form government,

Hashmi also criticized the government decision of paying Rs500 billion to power companies.

He said that the rulers didn’t want to hold local government elections and introduced poor legislation to remain at the helm of affairs.
