Gold surges by Rs300 per tola

KARACHI: The price of gold has recorded yet another increase across the country and touched a four-month high at Rs55,000 per tola, Geo News reported Wednesday.

The yellow metal registered a rise of Rs300 per tola to reach Rs55,000 while the rate of 10 grams saw an increase of Rs257 to Rs47,142.

According to Sarafa Association the local prices of the commodity went up in the wake of a 13-dollar surge per ounce in the international rate to 1,425 dollars.
