Lahore: Over 200 traffic wardens to be sacked over fake documents

LAHORE: Authorities have decided to sack over 200 traffic wardens who used fake educational documents for their promotions.

The issue came to surface when authorities formed a committee after some traffic wardens protested against their non-promotion.

366 educational documents and domiciles were found fake during scrutiny after the wardens were asked to re-submit their documents.

A case was also lodged with the Chohang Police Stations against the wardens and a separate committee was formed to look into the matter.

The committee headed by a DSP rank officer decided to fire over 200 wardens from their jobs.
