KARACHI: Seven persons including the son of MQM leader, Dr. Ghulam Sarwar Dahiri’s son was killed in overnight firing incidents here, Geo News reported.

Police said that some armed persons riding five motorbikes opened a barrage of fire on the clinic of Dr. Ghulam Sarwar Dahiri, also a member of the MQM’s Karachi Muzafati Organising Committee, at Bhains Colony in sector 19B of Shah Lateef Town

Seven persons including a woman received bullet wounds and they were rushed to the Jinnah Post Graduate Medical Centre, where four persons including Dr. Ghulam Sarwar Dahiri’s son, Salim Dahiri, Ghulam Murtuza, Khadim Hussain and Shahzad succumbed to their injuries.

In other incidents, two persons were gunned down and three wounded at sector no. 13 of Orangi Town and at Sharifabad market in Korangi Industrial Area, while a body was found in Sohrab Goth nullah.
