PTI rejects hike in POL prices

LAHORE: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) has rejected the fresh hike in petroleum product prices and announced to protest against it, Geo News reported.

In a statement on Sunday, PTI Chairman Imran Khan termed the hike in POL prices as ‘shameful’. He said PTI will protest against this increase in and outside the parliament.

Khan said it was failure of the government that it could not enhance the tax net, adding the government was increasing oil prices every month to meet its expenditures.
