JI’s Munawar Hasan sees more inflation ahead

LAHORE: Amir Jamaat-e-Islami (JI) Syed Munawar Hasan has said people could not expect any betterment from the government, Geo News reported.

Addressing a seminar on the issue of Egypt here, Munawar Hasan cautioned those who voted for Nawaz Sharif to be prepared for more inflation.

Hasan said Nawaz Sharif was following the US instructions. He said US was the biggest hurdle in the peace talks with Taliban. JI Amir said he was in favor of one-on-one negotiations with Taliban.

He said when the government gets permission from the US, then peace talks with Taliban will be held.

Jamaat-e-Islami will gather the international Islamic and Jehadist movements in Lahore, Hasan vowed.
