Karachi University student’s bus robbery case registered

KARACHI: The case of a Karachi University student’s bus being robbed by unknown gunmen has been registered at the Peerabad police station.

Police said that the bus was robbed when it arrived on the Banaras flyover. Unknown armed men forced the bus to stop and stole cash and mobiles at gunpoint from the students. The armed men fled from the crime scene after the robbery.

Following the incident the students held a protest in front of Abdullah College blocking the road. The protest was called off after the case was registered.
