Opposition parties to move court against new LG system in Punjab

LAHORE: The opposition parties in the Punjab Assembly have decided to move court against new Local Government (LG) system in the province, Geo News reported.

Talking to media here, Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) leader Manzoor Wattoo claimed that his party, the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) and Jamaat-e-Islami (JI) will move court against the new LG system, adding that the Pakistan Muslim League-Quaid (PML-Q) was also supporting them.

Wattoo further said that the all three parties would also contest LG polls with seat adjustment and cooperation.
