KARACHI: The Pakistan Rangers Sindh on Saturday arrested several suspects during its ongoing drive against criminals in the metropolis.
Sources said that the paramilitary force held 16 accused allegedly involved in murder, robbery and other crimes during a raid in Yousuf Goth area of Baldia Town.
Some of the accused were identified as Akhtar, Chota Saddam, Salman, Rizwan and Yaseen. The sources said that illicit weapons, drugs and other contraband items were also recovered from the possession of the suspects.
Similarly, the Rangers carried out a raid atYousuf Plaza in Federal B.Area, arresting many suspects. As many as 500 troops took part in the raids which are being carried out in different parts of the city since Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif chaired a special cabinet meeting in the megapolis..
