Three cops gunned down at Kashmore police checkpost attack

KASHMORE: Some unknown persons assailing a police checkpost gunned down three policemen in Badani area on Monday here, Geo News reported.

Police said that the assailants opened indiscriminate fire last night at 12:15 AM on the Samija checkpost in Badani area, resulting in the death of three police constables namely Sain Bukhsh, Amir Bukhsh and Ali Hassan. The attackers carried away the official weapons of the dead constables, while escaping from the scene.

Kashmore SSP Umar Salamat said that Shaltu Shar dacoit group was involved in this gory incident. He further said that the Badani SHO, Otha Namiani SHO and the police men absent from the checkpost have been suspended for their negligence.
