ISLAMABAD: Federal Minister Zahid Hamid has summoned a meeting of the three-member legal committee, which was formed as part of federal cabinet's efforts to maintain law and order in Karachi.
The meeting will be held today (Monday) in Islamabad. The Sindh prosecutor general and Barrister Farogh Naseem, who represents the MQM, will attend the meeting.
The meeting will discuss issues related to legal reforms for giving special powers to Rangers. An operational committee headed by the DG Rangers was also formed to monitor the operations to devise further action plans.
