‘Industrial units to face gas shortage in winter’

KARACHI: Industrial units in Sindh will face two-day gas closure in a week in the coming winter, said Managing Director Sui Southern Gas Company Zaheer Siddiqui on Monday.

He said that the authorities feared more gas shortage as compared to last year as there will be almost 300 to 350 MMCF gas shortage. He said that the industrial units will face two day gas suspension in a week.

He said that there was also likelihood of gas suspension to fertilizer sector while schedule of 3-day gas closure to CNG stations would continue unchanged.
