KMC-KESC lock horns over water, electricity bills

KARACHI: Karachi Metropolitan Corporation (KMC) and Karachi Electric Supply Company (KESC) dispute over water and electricity bills seemed quite intensified, Geo News reported on Tuesday.

KESC over non-payment of dues has disconnected the supply of electricity to KMC, while the KMC staffs have locked the KESC office within the Civic Centre.

This unwarranted action and counter-action by the staffs of the two organizations have created such a law and order situation that police have been called as a preemptive measure.
