MQM claims Imran Farooq had no plans to part ways

KARACHI: Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) coordination committee member Khalid Maqbool Siddiqi Monday claimed that Dr Imran Farooq was a loyal party worker and he had no plans whatsoever to start a separate party, Geo News reported.

Talking to newsmen here, Siddiqi strongly rejected the impression that Dr Imran Farooq was going to launch a separate party and added that if anybody has a doubt then they can go ahead and carry out their own research on the matter.

It is pertinent to note here that the Scotland Yard in its statement on the third anniversary of Dr Imran Farooq cited his plan of launching his separate political career as the prime reason for his assassination.
