QUETTA: Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam-Fazl (JUI-F) chief Maulana Fazlur Rehman has said that Peshawar church attacks were aimed at sabotaging peace talks with the Taliban, Geo News reported.
Speaking to media on his arrival here on Monday, Fazlur Rehman termed Peshawar church attack a big tragedy, adding it destroyed Pakistan’s identity.
JUI-F leader said church attacks occurred at a time when Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif was to present Pakistan’s stance on drone attacks in the United Nations. He said after these attacks PM’s viewpoint would have no weight.
