ISLAMABAD: Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam-Fazl (JUI-F) Chief Maulana Fazlur Rehman has called Imran Khan’s suggestion to allow Taliban for opening office as ‘childish’, Geo News reported.
Speaking to media here Thursday, Fazl said martyrdom of a major general and attack on church have prompted reaction from the military, the government and political parties.
He said Imran Khan’s suggestion for allowing Taliban to open office is lack of knowledge about the ground realities. He said the situation would be reviewed after Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif return.
Fazl said it seemed that Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) had started working on its real agenda over the issue of blasphemy law. He said no one should think about amendments in it, however, debate on how to stop its wrong utilization must be held.
Commenting on the local bodies elections, Fazl said LB polls was constitutional requirement.
