Karachi: Police arrest 20 in Clifton raid

KARACHI: Police have arrested ringleader of an enter-provincial drug racket during a raid in Clifton, Geo News reported.

ASP Clifton Ebadar Nisar said that acting on a tip off, the police conducted raid in Sheeren Jinnah Colony’s Block-1, arresting the ringleader identified as Islamshah.

He said that the accused would transport drugs through his own bus from Peshawar to Karachi. The police officer said that secret boxes of the bus were used to hide the drugs.

He said that 20 other suspects were also apprehended during the raid while 2 pistols, 2 Kg Charas, 2.5 Kg heroin were recovered from the possession of the accused.
