Families out to make best use of the last day of Eid holidays

KARACHI: On the third day of Eidul Azha and last day of holidays, people continue to offer sacrifice of animals and those who have performed their sacrifice are now spending time with family and friends.

Families and friends in groups are visiting different amusement parks, zoos, beaches, lakes and other entertainment places all across the country. Children are seen enjoying recreational activities at various Eid mela’s being held in different cities.

Cinema houses all across the country are also seen throbbing with life, as movies released on the eve of Eid are attracting huge crowds and doing record business. Long queues of cinema fans keep waiting for tickets even hours before the starting time of shows.

On the other hand, some of the faithful are still seen busy in offering sacrifices of the animals in observance of the Sunnat-e-Ibrahimi, when unlike the first day of Eidul Azha the butchers are in abundance and those offering sacrifices could make a good bargain with no inconvenience whatsoever.
