SRINAGAR: Amid ongoing Indian violations of ceasefire agreement across Line of Control (LoC), Indian Home Minister Sushil Kumar Shinde on Tuesday adding fuel to the fire harped on the same old stance that occupied Kashmir was an integral part of India and no third party intervention was acceptable.

Speaking to the media, Shinde said that Pakistan’s suggestion of third party intervention was completely unacceptable to New Delhi.

“It has been our unflinching stand since Nehru’s period that Kashmir is India’s integral part," he said and added that all issues between India and Pakistan could be resolved bilaterally as per the Shimla Agreement.

He also alleged that Pakistani intrusions into India were on the rise.

Towing the line of Indian External Affairs Minister, Salman Khurshid, Shinde was also of the view that, at the moment, atmosphere was not conducive to Pakistan-India dialogue.
