ISLAMABAD: Commissioner Peshawar Sahibzada Anisur Rehman has succumbed to his burn injuries at a private hospital in Rawalpindi in the early hours of Tuesday, Geo news reported.

The Commissioner Peshawar was burnt 100 percent of his body as a fire broke out in a flat here due to gas leakage.

He was shifted to Burns Unit’s ICU of a private hospital in Rawalpindi where he breathed his last.

The funeral prayer of the deceased will be offered today in Abbottabad at 4 PM.
