ISLAMABAD: Malik Sikandar, the gunman who brought the federal capital to a standstill during an armed standoff, has been sent to Adiala jail on 14-day physical remand, Geo News reported.

Police presented Sikandar before the Anti-Terrorism Court (ATC) on Tuesday after he was discharged from Pakistan Institute of Medical Sciences (PIMS), where he was under treatment for more than two months.

The special court sent the accused to jail on physical remand.
