LB polls: EC directs Punjab to increase number of election symbols

ISLAMABAD: The Election Commission has directed the Punjab to increase number of election symbols from 60 to 100 in the local bodies elections.

According to the EC, the province has included 60 symbols in LB polls rules, The electoral body directed the Punjab to increase the number of election symbols keeping in view non-party basis election in the province.
