Pillion riding banned in Punjab on Muharram 09, 10

LAHORE: The Punjab government has imposed a ban on pillion riding across the province on 9th and 10th of Muharram-ul-Haram, Geo News reported Wednesday.

Punjab Law Minister Rana Sanaullah said that the ban has been imposed on pillion riding to maintain law and order situation in the province during Ashura.

Regarding mobile phone service suspension, the law minister said it will be decided by Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif today.
