LAHORE: The Jamaat-e-Islam (JI), whose amir is at the centre of a controversy over his remarks on who is Shaheed and who is not, on Wednesday came heavily on the Pakistan Army for publicly denouncing its chief in a press release.

He said that an artificial and complicated atmosphere was created on the basis of two statements of Syed Munwar Hasan.
