Terror bid foiled in Peshawar; roadside bomb defused

PESHAWAR: A bomb disposal squad defused a roadside bomb in Achini Bala area on outskirt of Peshawar, foiling a terror bid on Thursday.

According to police, insurgents have planted a roadside bomb on Ring Road in the jurisdiction of Pishta Khara police station in Achini Bala.

After receiving the information, the bomb disposal squad reached the site and defused the bomb. The squad said that it was a remote control bomb having 15 to 20 kilograms weight.

A bomb was exploded at the same place the other day.
