KARACHI: Rangers have carried out targeted operation in Khadda Market area of Lyari, arresting 8 accused of gang war in the wee hours of Sunday.

According to the rangers official, the personnel raided Khadda Market and adjoining areas in which three accused affiliated with Wasiullah Lakho Group of gang war were arrested. The accused are identified as Aamir Lakho, Muhammad Tariq, Noor Muhammad and Kashif.

The other accused who were arrested in the raids included Ali Raza of Umar Kachi Group, Muhammad Farooq of Badshah Khan Group and Abdul Qadir of Taju Group.

A huge cache of arms and other bullets were also recovered from their possession, the rangers official added.
