LAHORE: The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government will officially block Nato supplies on Wednesday (today) and it has informed the centre about its inability to protect containers meant for foreign troops stationed in Afghanistan, said Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf Chairman Imran, whose party rules the province.

Speaking to media on late Tuesday night, Khan said that the PTI sit-ins against US drone attacks would continue, adding that it was incumbent upon the federal government to protect the federating units against such attacks.

“We are doing what is possible against drone attacks and centre has been informed that we can no longer protect Nato containers,” the PTI chairman said.

He said that he was reminding the ruling Pakistan Muslim League Nawaz of its promises about blocking Nato supplies and putting and end to drone strikes.

Commenting over Supreme Court order against NAB chairman Qamar Zaman Chaudhry, Imran Khan said that he had already told that Chaudhry was a disputed person and was appointed in collusion between the PML-N and the Pakistan People’s Party (PPP).

Replying a query about an FIR against US drone attack in Hangu district of KP, he said that the PTI would inform the media on this issue on Wednesday (today).
