Couple with two children kidnapped, killed in Karachi

KARACHI: Four bodies of the same family were found near Mauripur area of the city, Geo News reported Sunday.

Police said the unfortunate couple and their two children were kidnapped and then murdered. They were the residents of Musharraf Colony, Mauripur and belonged to the Kachhi community, police said.

Those dead were identified as Muzaffar, 45, his wife Shazia, son Imran and the daughter Muneeza.

Earlier, a police constable was gunned down at Gulshan-e-Iqbal this morning.

Last night also one police constable along with one Mazhar Abbas was shot dead in Gulistan-e-Jauhar area here, when a Shia scholar Mirza Yusuf Hussain’s car was targeted by some unknown armed persons, but fortunately he was not on board the car.
