Musharraf says ready to face difficulties, ‘baseless cases’

ISLAMABAD: Former president Gen (retd) Pervez Musharraf has expressed resolve to face all the difficulties and ‘baseless’ cases registered against him.

Speaking to retired army men here on Tuesday, the former military ruler said that the Pakistan Army was rendering great sacrifices. He also prayed for the success of new army Chief General Raheel Shareef.

Musharraf said that he had returned to Pakistan to serve the country as people wanted a political change. He said he had never sought anybody’s help.
