KARACHI: Following a strong bullish activity in index heavyweights, cement, and telecommunications stocks, an upwardly mobile Karachi Stock Exchange (KSE) ended the week even stronger.

The benchmark 100-Index rose 0.33 percent, or 84.53 points, to finish at 26,046.71 points level on Friday.

Pakistan Telecommunication Co Ltd jumped 1.58 percent to Rs30.20, while D.G. Khan Cement Co Ltd gained 2.98 percent to close at Rs92.94.

In the currency market, the rupee ended higher against the dollar to close at 105.30/105.36 compared to Thursday´s close of 05.48/105.54.
