Two more killed in overnight Karachi violence, death toll reaches 15

KARACHI: Two more people lost their lives in overnight violence in Karachi, Geo News reported.

The death toll has reached 15 in the fresh violence started late Friday night.

Police said a man was shot dead in Sheeri Jinnah colony area of Clifton, while another person, who was injured in firing on police mobile in Orangi town No.4 on Saturday, succumbed to injuries in the hospital.

The deceased has been identified as Asif.

On Saturday, at least 13 people were killed and several others injured in fresh violence in the port city.

According to the Rangers, a political party is involved in the killings. It said that evidences have been collected and the culprits would be arrested soon.
