Ch Shujaat sends Article 6 draft amendment to Senate

ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Muslim League-Q President Chaudhry Shujaat Hussain Tuesday forwarded to the Senate a draft proposal to amend Article 6 of the Constitution.

According to sources, the proposed amendment seeks replacement of the term ‘high treason’ with ‘crime against state’.

The proposal also seeks similar changes in the Pakistan Criminal Act 1973.
