ISLAMABAD: Over a dozen people have been killed and near 38 were injured as two passenger vans plunged into a ravine after colliding with each other in Muree Hills, Geo News reported.

According to officials, rescue workers have recovered 15 bodies from the gorge.

However, the exact numbers of the dead and injured were yet to be ascertained. The bodies were being shifted to a hospital.

Police said that the two ill-fated buses collided in Salgiran area before plunging into the ravine.
