Karachi: At least 12 end up in hospital after suspected food-poisoning

KARACHI: At least a dozen people ended up in the hospital unconscious after consuming unhygienic food here in the wee hours of Thursday, Geo News reported.

The incident, suspected to be a case of food-poisoning, was reported from Landhi, a populous eastern district of the metropolis.

According to rescue sources at least 12 such cases have been rushed to hospital so far.

"None of the victims, ambulanced to the emergency room, was able to carry him/herself", they added.

Police have started investigating the case.
