CM Sindh announces Rs20 m for martyred SP’s family

KARACHI: Sindh Chief Minister, Syed Qaim Ali Shah Thursday announced Rs20 million for the family of Chaudhry Aslam, the brave SP CID who was martyred in a bomb attack in the provincial metropolis earlier today.

The CM also announced Rs2 million each for the families of the escorting cops who lost their lives in the tragic incident, said a spokesman of CM Sindh.

He said the provincial chief executive expressing shock and grief on the loss of precious lives, ordered IG Sindh and Additional IG to launch an investigation into the carnage.

The spokesman said the bereaved members of the victims will also be given plots and government service besides provision of other support and security.
