ECP unfreezes electoral lists in Sindh, Punjab

ISLAMABAD: Election Commission of Pakistan has unfrozen voters lists and lifted ban on transfers and postings in Sindh and Punjab, Geo News reported.

The ECP had frozen the electoral lists and banned transfers and postings in both the provinces following the announcement of local bodies election schedule.

ECP spokesman said the step has been taken after the commission was allowed to reschedule LB election.

The spokesman further said the new voters could be included in the electoral lists besides change of constituency.
