SHARJAH: Pakistan were bowled out for 341 in their first innings on the fourth day of the third and final Test against Sri Lanka in Sharjah on Sunday.

That left them conceding a first innings lead of 87 to Sri Lanka, who had declared on 428-9.Skipper Misbah-ul Haq (63) notched up his 24th half-century before he holed out to off-spinner Rangana Herath, who finished with figures of 5-125.

Paceman Shaminda Eranga took 4-60, the best figures of his Test career.

Resuming on 291-6, Pakistan lost Abdul Rehman (two) and Mohammad Talha (two) before reaching 300.

Sri Lanka lead the three-match series 1-0 after winning the second Test in Dubai by nine wickets. The first Test in Abu Dhabi ended in a draw. (AFP)
